Picture of the productOD: Add a Little Fiction to Your Legal Writing (2017)
Previously presented on April 11, 2017 at the State Bar Center and as subsequent Video Replays.

2.0 General

Add a little fiction to your legal writing - Sounds like a contradiction? Not necessarily. Before Steve Berry was a New York Times and #1 international best selling author, he was a trial lawyer. 30 years of active practice taught him about legal writing - what works and what doesn't - and 15 best selling novels taught Berry how to engage a reader. Legal writing is designed to persuade and entertain. But these two goals are not mutually exclusive.

In a compelling program Berry brings both skills together to help lawyers not only grab their readers attention, but make their point. The program includes: 11 rules of legal writing, practical advice on how to apply those rules for clear, concise and compelling arguments, and a review of some definite do's and don'ts.
