Pro Bono Representation: Managing Legal and Ethical Issues
The Young Lawyers Division and the Volunteer Attorney Program are teaming up to present a program on pro bono representation. 

Join the YLD at the State Bar Center for Pro Bono Representation: Managing the Legal and Ethical Issues. Registration is complimentary to those who sign up for two YLD Homeless Legal Clinics (minimum of two hours each) or to those who sign up to take on a pro-bono case through the Volunteer Attorney Program. This CLE will assist pro bono attorneys in serving a wide variety of client needs. Topics include communication style issues related to working with clients in poverty, Medicaid services, Section 8 housing issues and public benefits.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. If you find you can no longer attend a program, please contact the CLE Department. We’d be happy to assist you by transferring your registration to a colleague or future CLE event. A full refund will be given to registrants who cancel 2 or more business days before the program date. Cancellation requests received within 1 day of the program will not be eligible for a refund, but the fees may be applied to a future CLE program offered in the same compliance year.
