Mediating With a Party With a Mental Illness/Disability
This course will focus on raising awareness of behavioral health issues in mediation and provide information on how to address those issues before and during mediation.  The course is intended for mediators and other ADR practitioners with little or no knowledge of the behavioral health field.  Instruction will emphasize capacity to mediate, appropriate accommodations, and limitations of the mediator and mediation process.

Join the ADR Committee for its Committee meeting at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided by the State Bar.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. If you find you can no longer attend a program, please contact the CLE Department. We’d be happy to assist you by transferring your registration to a colleague or future CLE event. A full refund will be given to registrants who cancel 2 or more business days before the program date. Cancellation requests received within 1 day of the program will not be eligible for a refund, but the fees may be applied to a future CLE program offered in the same compliance year.
